This statement appear just as true as the one that all tiers of the present-day societyââ¬â¢s structure are more or less regularly shaken by multiple global financial and economic crises ââ¬â the latest of which is still ongoing, with yet unknown precise dimensions and tail end. Therefore, each and every organisation ââ¬â whether in the public or private sector ââ¬â is subjected to the consequences of these crises, with certain implications for the organisationââ¬â¢s modus operandi, operational capabilities, and, above all, the individuals who work for, and depend on, the organisation in question. In order to better understand how our organisation would successfully perform its functions under the above-mentioned circumstances, a few conceptions need to be reviewed. On the one han d all organisations are made of individual members, where the individual is a central feature and necessary constituent part of any organisationââ¬â¢s behavioural situation, whether acting in response to expectations of the organisation, or as a result of influences of the external environment.
